In loving memory of Brendan McBride
William Brendan was born in Glasgow on June 10, 1933, first son of William and Elisabeth McBride and elder brother to Gerard and Hugh. He leaves behind his beloved wife Stella, children Catriona, Stephanie and Ninian and six grandchildren.
Brendan passed away suddenly at twilight, after enjoying his favourite whisky and a cigar in the garden, watching his 5 little goldfish "the five fearties" play in the pond, and enjoying the beauty of warm and golden Autumn leaves.
He is much, much loved, terribly missed, and will always be remembered with love, affection, admiration and pride by all his friends and family.

Paul considered Brendan to be one of his closest friends – they both go back a long way enjoying each other’s company when they got together. Brendan was one of the most lovely men I have ever had the pleasure to know and for both of us it was a privilege to be one of yours and Brendan’s friends
Our heartfelt sympathies are with you and the family and with Gods help you will come through this with treasured memories of a wonderful husband father and grandfather
